BHM's EnviroCoat™ is a dry completely inert powder injected into the exhaust stream ahead of a baghouse to protect against bleed-through, blinding and moisture problems. Normally introduced into the off-gas duct ahead of the baghouse before dirty exhaust air is introduced to the system. In some cases BHM EnviroCoat™ is injected continuously for the prupose of protecting the fitler elements and to assist in building a superior filter cake for increased filtering efficiency and enhanced cake release during the cleaning cycle. The point of injection is normally located in the main duct of the environmental control system some distance up stream from the fabric filter.
