BHM (PAS™)

The BHM (PAS™) is a pneumatic air switch developed to provide a safe, clean alternative to the conventional on-off electrical switch currently used to turn kitchen appliances such as the garbage disposal on and off, specifically where there is a potential of electric shock specifically in the presence of water. When gently depressed, the BHM (PAS™) sends a low pressure air pulse through plastic tubing into a sensing switch which turns the garbage disposal motor on or off. Manufactured from non-conductive components, the BHM (PAS™) puts a non-conductive barrier between a person and the electrical current required to operate the garbage disposal -- eliminating the risk of electrical shock.
